Another berry season begins

As some of you know, we investigated exiting the farm last year. However, those doors have closed and so we will return for our 18th year of fruit growing. We want to thank our customers for your consistent support and trust you will continue to use Riverbend Orchards as your source for local fruit.

Have you heard of “haskap”?

We are provincial leaders in the growth and marketing of a new fruit crop known as honeyberry or “haskap”. Our farm features 6000 mature plants of outstanding haskap cultivars developed at the University of Saskatchewan. Visit our facility this summer to gather fruit, purchase plants and celebrate a prairie success story.

Did you know that Riverbend Orchards supplies bulk fruit to valued processors in Manitoba? Our partners include Manitoba Maid, Woodengate Cider, Dead Horse Cider, Next Friend Cider, Tall Grass Prairie Bakery, Baltic Brothers Brewing, Trans Canada Brewing. Support these local partners (and farmers too!), when you purchase locally-made fruit products.

CELEBRATING 17 YEARS IN BUSINESS (2009-26): Riverbend Orchards was incorporated in spring of 2009 when Philip and Karen Ronald purchased Linden’s B B Farm, founded by the late Bill Linden and his wife Marie. The Ronald’s and their family have continued the tradition of providing locally-grown fruit for consumers in southern Manitoba.
